Our Office Culture

At Strategic Partners Marketing, we value working hard while still having fun. Our SPM office culture is best described as relaxed, inviting, and supportive. When we’re not meeting with clients, leads, or vendors, most of us are in jeans… sometimes Amber even sports her Converse sneakers. Our biggest rule is to use good judgment and to ask if you’re ever unsure about something, whether that’s what attire is appropriate for a particular client meeting or how to respond to an email. We strive to create an environment that encourages each team member to learn, grow, and succeed personally and professionally. And we’re each happy to do what we can to help make that happen.

Monday Mindfulness

Every Monday, we have our weekly team meetings to give updates on client projects and to connect on our business development efforts. Before our team meetings, we have Monday Mindfulness where we meditate, do yoga, or just check in with each other for about 10-15 minutes. We’ve found that it helps us reconnect with ourselves and with each other, and it helps make our team meetings more focused and productive.

Semi-Annual Team Retreat

About every six months, we have a team retreat where we assess the state of the business, review SPM’s brand strategy, develop a game plan for our internal marketing efforts, and discuss team members’ goals for the next 6-12 months. Because we like to connect with each other on a more personal level, we make sure to mingle business and fun. In July 2017, we went to Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells for our team retreat, and after our business strategy session, we went to the waterpark. Talk about a fun day!

Workiversary Celebration

Each year, when a team member celebrates their work anniversary, they get to pick a half-day team-bonding activity that will count as paid time. Such activities might include laser tag, hiking, taking a class together, or doing something else that brings the team together.

In short, if you ask us, we think the SPM office culture is pretty sweet!
